I signed up as a member, but I can not send messages?
Look in your control panel at your profile status. If your status is not active you will be unable to send messages to other members and you will be unable to enjoy ALL TheCyberUniverse.com's features.
Unconfirmed = You have not confirmed your e-mail address yet. Check your mail and click on the link provided with-in the e-mail to confirm.
Suspended = You have suspended your account. Just click on the link next to your status to become active again .

What are points and what are they for?
Points are used to send virtual gifts. You can earn points by getting your friends to sign up for the site. You can use your banners, on the my banners page or by using the invite a friend link.
You may also buy points. There is a link to get more points on you’re my account page.

What are Virtual Gifts?
Gifts are virtual gifts sent to other members as a way to show affection or to just show you are thinking about them. A virtual gift will be sent to them with a link to your profile.
Once they receive your gift they have the choices to accpet it or decline it.
If they accept it then it will show up on their profile. If they decline it then you will be refunded the points it cost to send it.

What is e-mail to a friend?
While viewing someone's profile if you feel a friend maybe interested in seeing their profile you may send an e-mail to your friend with a direct link to that person's profile by clicking on "e-mail to friend" from that person's profile and then entering in the appropriate information.

How can I block a member?
If at any time a member is bothering you or you would just like for them to not be able to send you mail you may, while looking at their profile, click on the "block member" at that time this person will be unable to send you any more messages.
If at a later date you change your mind and would like to unblock a member you may do so from your communicator.

What is favorites ?
You can add someones profile to your favorites for quick referance to their profile. Your favorites will show up on you’re my account page. .

What is Spam report?
If someone is sending you Spam in your messages you can click the Spam report link from that message. Then a message will be sent to Admin letting us know this person is spamming and appropriate actions will then be taken.
Also if someone is advertising on their profile you may also send a Spam report from that person's profile. Spamming or scamming will NOT be tolerated at ALL!!!!!!!!!!!

How do I edit my profile? You may edit your profile at any time from your member menu (located to the left) click "edit profile". Then make any changes you wish and click the "save changes" at the bottom of the edit page. All changes will be saved.

Is HTML allowed on my profile? Yes HTML codes are allowed to be used on your profile as well as profile comments. However, at this time videos and music will not be allowed.

How do I edit my friends list? You can edit your friends list from the link in the member menu. Just click my friends.

How do I upload pictures to my gallery? You may upload photos to your gallery by clicking on "my gallery" from your member menu. Then make an album and upload photos.
You may have your albums set for everyone to view or so that only your friends may see them by checking the appropriate box when creating the album.
Once pictures are uploaded into your albums you may also move the order of the pictures as well as remove them by viewing the album and clicking on the button to do what you would like to do.

What is feedback? Feedback is where you may put stories of experiences you may have at TheCyberUniverse.com. Then all others will be able to view and read your stories.

How do I add a poll to my profile? To add a poll to your profile just click the link "my polls" from your member menu. You may also edit or delete your polls from there.

What kind of pictures are NOT allowed?
Pictures that are not allowed are as follows, but not limited to:
-NUDE PICTURES ARE NOT ALLOWED
-Pictures portraying a sexual act NOT ALLOWED
-Pictures showing pubic hair NOT ALLOWED
-Pictures exposing nipples (women only) NOT ALLOWED
-Any picture that is of an adult nature NOT ALLOWED
-Pictures showing genitals NOT ALLOWED
If you are unsure about a picture the best thing to do is not try to upload it. If you try to upload any of the above type of pictures, not only will your profile be deleted but you will be permanently BANNED from TheCyberUniverse.com.

I would like to leave the site, How do I cancel my account? You can delete your account from the edit profile link in your member menu. . Or if you wish to just make your profile unavailable for others to see or send you messages you may suspend your account and be able to reactivate it later. Note if you leave it suspended for more then 3 months your profile will be removed. .
